Specify Screen Font Replacement For Printer Font?
[I tried searching for this issue, but mostly people want to substitute printer fornts, whereas my problem is the other way round, I want to change the displayed font in BarTender]
I am using BarTender to design a label that uses a Chinese printer font. I understand that because this is a printer font, an alternative font is displayed in BarTender.
I am using Windows 8.1 and the alternative font being used at the moment is "FangSong". This is the correct character set, etc, but the problem is that it is not vertically aligned in the same way as the printer font, so I have to guess the positioning of the text elements on the screen, as they actually print off at a different vertical position when printing (see attahced image).
I wondered if choosing a different font might help me - is there is a way to specify the substituted font to use when designing labels? Instead of FangSong, I would like to use a different font instead.
Alternatively, a way to offset the displayed text vertically so that I can position it in the same location as the physical label when it shown in BarTender would also work.
Extra info:
I am using BarTender Ultralite 9.4 SR3 in Windows 8.1 Pro (x64). I am designing labels for a Citizen CL-S400DT printer, using their "Citizen Chinese GB" printer font.
See attached image - this shows the font being used - this prints correctly inside the lines on the label, but as you can see, when displayed in BarTender it is not quite right...
Apologies if this has been asked before. Thanks in advance.

Windows 8.1 is supported since BarTender 10.1, so I recommend to purchase or try the latest BarTender.
However BarTender to date doesn't have an ability to specify display font for printer font.
BarTender automatically select a font, and that may not exactly matches with your printer font's dimension.
If possible, I would use TrueType font instead to achieve WYSIWYG.
