Maximum Size Of A Text Field

Hello,

 

My first post on this forum.

Can be that someone already asked this question (sorry if this is the case), but I haven't found any answer to it...

 

I use an XLS file as the database. I some text fields that are very long (1000+ characters).

When I design a label, they are always truncated (255 characters).

 

Is there a way to have more than 255 characters in 1 single field ?

  You need to change the cell/column formatting in the XLS file to be "Text" specifically, as the "General" option has this number of characters cut off.
