Reuse/ Roll Back Ribbon?
Hi, I just want to ask if we can reuse the black ribbon for the TSC TTP 2410m pro? I have clients complain that they have wasted their printing ribbon because they only use a small part of the black ribbon to to print their qr code.
The specification of the printer is TSC TTP 2410m pro Printing 203dpi.

If you have a wide ribbon, and say the printed item is only on one side of the left/right ribbon that is used, then in theory you could take the take-up ribbon spool when fully used, turn it around, and put it on the supply spool for a second go around. So long as the printed items don't overlap on the ribbon area you'll get a second pass. Note however that the unwind direction will also be reversed. Buying a narrower, thus cheaper, ink ribbon is also an option.

Tech101, is better to use a new roll
- If you use a ribbon narrower than label you can damage printhead
- If you reuse the ribbon you´ll probably have wrinkles on it (thickness and tension roll is different each time you use the whole roll)
