I assume your application calling BarTender, and something in print (printer driver?) hasn't properly finished.

What printer do you use? Does the printer driver supports the 64bit OS properly? Update to the latest driver if not yet.

If your application execute BarTender for every print job, that would be slow and not effective.

Use .net SDK or ActiveX automation to open BarTender application (or start engine in .net SDK) at start of your application, let the bartender to do print jobs, then close bartender at end of your application.

Or consider using Commander - let Commander to control bartender's process.

    The printer is a Zebra 170Xi4 w/ driver version 'ZDesigner 170Xi4 300 dpi 4.7.3.12'

I'm not sure on how they are executing Bartender from within the application. It was working fine for months and suddenly stopped.

Thank you for the information and I will follow up with the application vendor as well.
