Driver Install Cd Crashes

    On a possibly unrelated issue (No fonts found.  Bartender cannot run without fonts) - I had created a separate thread.  I received a response suggesting there was a corruption in our drivers - I tried to download the newest Zebra and Datamax drivers (7.3.3) but I have the same issue using the newest drivers.

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Suggestion I received from Seagull support in the other thread:

     

    • Make sure no application is running that is using a printer driver.  Make sure there are no print jobs still in the print queues.
    • Do the removal of all Seagull printer drivers first, and then reboot.
    • Once restarted, run the DriverWizard again to install from scratch.
    • Make sure you run the DriverWizard from a local location on your PC.

    Will update when possible, but may be a few days as I have to schedule downtime and consult with others as removing drivers will leave our label department down if the install results in failure.

    Tried a test that did not involve removing drivers, or rebooting.

     

    No print jobs in the queue, nobody logged on to Citrix using Bartender (luckily it's quiet as it is a holiday here).  Ran from the DriverWizard included with the 7.3.3 drivers, saved locally and it has just been hanging for the past 10-15 minutes at 'Installing Drivers - Please wait while your system is updated.'  The progress bar has not moved yet.  Normally it has crashed by this point.

     

    My next step will be to try a reboot and retry the above steps.  From there, if approved, I will try to remove the drivers and follow your instructions perfectly.
