1772 Error Printer Not Supported By Checkpoint

we were using an older computer that had windows xp and the printer worked great....that comp went down so we are using a windows 7 os and when I install every thing we get that error...the printer is a datmax e 4203...I downloaded all the new printer drivers. is there a windows program that runs with the checkpoint software?

  What is the checkpoint software?  Does it not support standard Windows printer drivers?
