Blank Page Problem With Cab Xc-Series Printer With Two-Tone Printing.

Hi,

 

I have a problem with BarTender and CAB XC-series printer with two-tone printing. When printing batch jobs or printing with a start page 

I alway get a blank page between the start label and the other labels. I looked in the XC manual and assume it has to do with the the issue 

descibed in chapter 5.5 in the XC Operators Manual. Do you have any ideas that may help me?

  In terms of printer code being produced, when you send a "Start of Job" Template + a main Template, BarTender will produce 1 print job, but separate issue commands (2 in this case).

  For cab XC and XD series, when you've more than a J command (that's the Job Start command for cab printers), there will be a blank label printed in between. This doesn't occur with any other cab series printers. As an example of what I mean:

  Unless you produce a code with only one issue command (J), there will be a blank label printed between labels printed on the previous and labels printed on the next J command.

  Thank you for an informative answer.

   

  I came to the same conclusions and have not come up with a good solution (or workaround) that can help my client in this case. I tried to tamper with 'J' command but could not get to it. However,I can now objectively and convincingly describe the cause of the problem.
