    You should watch the training videos ... they explain how to do this.  You do not need VB script to do this.

    The closest video that I saw was the Record Picker.  BT9.3 does not have that.

    Is it VB you need or just to pick a record from a database? 

     

    i.e. Link the label to a database, include a query that asks is linked to the Part Number column (asking the users to enter the part number) and add field on the label that is linked to the database description field.

    Probably just picking a record from a database.

     

    I tried my version of that previously.  The end result was that a label was printed for every database entry.

     

    Using my example above.  If I inputted '1' at the printing prompt, I get a label with 'A' and another label with 'B'.  If I inputted '2' at the printing prompt, I get a label with 'A' and another label with 'B'.

    What you are describing is basic BarTender functionality ...
