Database - How To Look Up A Number And Display The Next In Row

Hi All,

 

Really stuck on probably a very simple answer.

 

I have a database of account numbers and their corresponding name. All i need to do is type in the account number on the data entry form and it display the account name before i print.

 

Please help!

  Hi Sorry for the vagueness of the request. Let me try to explain a little more.

   

  I have an excel sheet that im using as my database, its a simple sheet that has two columns (account number, account name).

  I've linked the database to bartender and i've set it up so that it shows the account number and account name from the database on the data entry form. Thats as far as i have got.

   

  What i need it to do is have a empty text box on the data entry form that i can type into and it display the name for that account from the database.
