How To Recode A Date Into A Text Code

hello, 

 

I would like to recode my expiry date filled in on the data entry form (fex: 20150917) into a text-code (fex: bcaocsae)

 

with

1=a

2=b

3=r

4=i

5=o

6=l

7=e

8=t

9=s

0=c

 

i have tried with vb-scripting but don't find the expected result.

 

I would be really helped if someone could help me out !

  Hello,

  From BarTender 10.0 or later, Data source > Transform tab's Search and Replace does that.

  Replace 1 to a, 2 to b.. etc.[attachment=1199:search and replace.png]
