Hi, I need to print ID-xxxxxx Codabar-NW7 barcode, but it doesnt work because of the letter. Please help me with the settings

  Codabar is a numeric only barcode symbology.  You will only ever be able to encode numbers into it.  This will be the base for ANY barcode label software.  Perhaps you need to disable the human readable feature and create a new text object for it with two data sources, one that contains the ID- prefix, and the other which shares the same numeric data source as used in the barcode.

  Thanks Ian. But I really would need the barcode format ID-xxxx becuse of a related system. So what kind of barcode symbology should I use if I want alphanumeric code in the barcode?

  I would suggest you use Code 128 as it is the best conventional, general purpose barcode symbology.
