Limit On Database Connections Per Image?
I created a template for a 96 well plate (8 rows x 12 columns; circles), printing on 3x5 labels. It prints from the top left corner, going vertically. I have an Excel file linked, with 96 entries. Print preview shows everything fine. Test print shows #0000 for all of the circles (#0000 is what I use and then link the database to). But then when it prints, it only prints up until the 60th well (D7). Is there a limit on how many database connections can be used per image, and can this be bypassed in any way?

Attached is a picture of my template printed out. I need to fix the alignment of the 1-12 at the top, which is an easy fix, but this is what it looks like. It's just a circle template done at 8 x 12, and using the "Page Template" feature, I add the A-H and 1-12 to the background. Using the "Database Connection Setup" I linked an Excel file containing 96 different numbers, so that those 96 numbers would be filled in to all 96 wells. However, when it prints, only 60 fields are filled, which is why E7 - H12 are blank. When I use "Print Preview" all 96 are properly filled in, and when I use "Test Print" all 96 printed with #0000. There's nothing wrong with my Excel file or database connection; therefore, BarTender must be limiting the number of data fields per image to 60.

Not sure what you mean by database connections. Do you really mean database records, or maybe database fields. I'm not sure I understand you. Is it possible to attache the files so we can see what you're trying to do?

As a test try either or both of the following: In the Excel file copy the cell data from the worksheet you use and paste it into a new/blank worksheet in a new workbook. Have the BarTender document connect to that. Also, export the data to a CSV and have BT connect to it as a CSV text file. I don't trust Excel files as they are not a true database and can cause problematic issues.
I know of no limitation we have like this (60 records) concerning the number of records you can have on a single page.
