Template Selction - Multiple Triggers
I have a BT 10.0 document with 3 templates. The templates are chosen by field 'Product type' in an excel file.
The only way I can see to choose the template is to give the template the same name as the spreadsheet entry, so I need a new template for every possible entry in the spreadsheet.
Is there to have several different entries trigger one template?
example: If the cell in the spreadsheet is "components" or "accessories" then template A will print, If cell is "complete assembly" then template B prints.
Thanks.

In Excel, create a field for desired template. You could use Excel formula function such as IF to populate A or B depends on other column value.
From Ver 10.1 or later you can have more complex expression such as print template A when field X is "ABC" OR "DEF", etc.

Hi Shotaro,
Can you please help me with an example.
We use BarTender together with Commander to print millions of labels every year. In this specific case I need to use 2 differnt templates depending on the prefix of one of the varfiables connected/fetched from the Commander data file.
So it seems I need to call/execute two different templates from the template stated by the /AF tag in the Commader file.
Thanks,
Jorgen
