Font Sizes
We are using BarTender 10.1 SR1 to produce A0 banners. Using font Akzidenz we can get the size up to 1572 points but in MS Word we can get it up to 1638. Is this limit a BarTender issue or is it driven by the font themselves?

I've been testing with the Arial font (as another sample TrueType font as I don't have the Akzidenz font), and both with BarTender and MS Word I was able to increase the font size to 1638. BarTender is a True Windows application so it should be able to display fonts in the exact same way as MS Word.
In any case, please try accessing the "File>Print..." dialog and, under the "Object Print Method" and changing the print method for TrueType fonts. It might be that the print method in use is affecting the maximum supported font size.

I've downloaded the font in question and was able to choose a max size of 1638.
What Windows Version and Service Pack are you running under?

Using BarTender v10.1 SR3 I could use a maximum font size with the Arial font of 1638 pt size. See the attached screenshot when I tried to set a larger font size than that. I suggest you download and install SR3 if you have no luck getting this font size with Arial.

Of course there might well be limitation in the font itself, but I wouldn't expect that necessarily.
