Two Fairly Straightforward Questions
I manage a Bartender 9.4 install and am being asked for help with a 10.1 install as well. I have two questions:
1) Is there a way to see which database fields are being used on a label? I know I can see the list of fields in a database file, but that file can have far more fields than on the label. Is there a simple way to see a list of the fields actually being used on the label?
2) Is there a best practice in regard to having multiple database files for multiple labels, or one large file that all labels share? So, let's say we have 50 labels, all with different data, though much of their data overlaps. Outside of any specifics related to source system and its creating the database text files, is there guidance that says the preference is to have a distinct, smaller database file for each label, or should each label share the same file, even though it will have a multitude of fields not relevant to any given label?
Thank you!

1. Press Shift+F12
2. It is fine to connect a large database to a format even if many of the fields won't be used, as you described. If that is easier than creating many smaller files.

Thanks, nRyder, that trick worked on the current version of BT, but seemed not to in the old--that's okay.

Correct, this feature is new and didn't exist in BT v9.4
