Epl Label
Dear all.
A very newbie question - tried to search for EPL, but since this is a 3 letter word it is not valid as search term - and therefore I cannot find any information in the forum about this.
Just got a TSC ME-240 and BarTender UltraLite that we are trying to install insteda of our old Eltron Label printer.
Have tried to figure out how to get the ME-240 to print our labels that are taking 2-4 information strings from the serial port (But cannot fins any information on howto make labels that takes EPL "commands".
Have attached my label that is giving wrong output. [attachment=547:Document2.btw]
The EPL message for 2 strings that are sent on ther com port is:
FR"1"
?
Some text
103.001
P1
Have tried to make a label and exported it to the printer with the name "1" (as we have done in the past with eltron printers) - and it shows up in the filelist as 1.bas (Tried to set the two strings as "Printer Code Template Fields", but not sure if this is the correct way to do this). When trying to print with the EPL message above the label is blank (nothing is printed)
Could someone please guide me how to make a label that supports EPL messages?
Thanks in advance.
WBR Stian

TSC printers use TSPL printer programming language. The EPL (Eltron Programming Language) commands you're trying to sent won't be interpreted by the TSC printer. You will need to modify these EPL commands and use TSPL commands instead. The printer manufacturer and programming manual for your printer can help you in finding the appropriate commands for this.
