Barcode Printing "space"

Hi all,

 

i m on Bartender 10.0 and is having problem with "spaces". below is my input text file, all the bold character has to be mapped in to a datamatrix barcode including the <space> but it seems that the cut off point is at the space whereas the remarks, too won't be showing up in the datamatrix barcode.

 

ID<tab>C00636-0001<tab>12345<tab>67890<tab>abc<tab>QTY<tab>def<tab>ghi<tab>a1,a2,a3<tab>N/A<tab>QTY_INITIAL<tab><space><tab>remarks

  simply put double quotes to wrap the <space> will do..

  Can you attach an example BarTender document for us to examine?  Are you using tab delimiters?  With your second comment are you saying that you solved it by having " " for the space field?

  yup i m using tab delimiters, the printed "space" will be use to "check" a checkbox in a web application. however i think it got trimmed while i m putting it without the double quote sign. Anyway I got it solved by assigning double quotes to it, thanks for the reply..
