Pdf417 Message Header

I'm reading a spec for a PDF417 2D bar code.

The spec calls out for the message to begin with a Headerof : [)>rs - I assume Bartender generates this?

  You would enter this into the data source of the barcode. Note that the total data source of the object can be made out of multiple, concatenated data sources (used to be called Sub-Strings) if you want.
  
  Be aware that the <RS>, <EOT> control character escape codes can be entered by clicking the insert symbol/control characters button located to the right of the text input box of the data source dialog.

  hello......as i have been gone through many of solution for generating PDF417 barcode but unable to get familiar response with this barcode even used SDK library for support with platform of .NET
