One Label Template - Multiple Different Labels
I have a roll of 4" x 6" labels, continuous, and with a gap. Most of the time, I need to only print one label. Sometimes I need to print a pair of labels (e.g. 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b...). I need a single BarTender label format that contains both labels. I would settle for a single format that toggles all the label elements based on even/odd label printing, but that would make for a very confusing label, not to mention requiring the user to ask for double the number of pairs of labels. I don't want to change my roll of labels as most of the time we're just printing one label.
Hopefully someone can set me on the right path. Thank you in advance!

Hello,
With BarTender version 10.0 we've introduced the ability store multiple templates in a single BarTender document. In your case, this would allow you to create two designs and choose which (or both) templates print based on a user prompt or data supplied at print time.
See the "Far More Flexible Document Format" section of the "What's New in BarTender 10.0" white paper for more information.
