Alignment Of Database Fields

I'd like to center a variable length database field on a label. Can't seem to find the way to do it. Anyone done done that and can help me out? Thanks.

  Hi itdspopro,
  For single line text, modify text > Position tab, set Object Reference point to [Center]
  For paragraph(multi lines) text, modify text > Text tab > General minitab > set alignment to [Center]
  or click [Center] of format toolbar.
  for quickly bring an object to center of label, click [Center horizontally on design area] of Arrange toolbar.
  These setting would work when text datasource is from database field too.
