our application is integrated to Bartender and is working well everywhere it's been installed. However, I just took a call on a new installation where it's not working. Bartender itself is working so I believe he has that installed correctly. However, when trying to print from our application he's getting the following error: System.Management.ManagementException:Provider Load Failure

The only thing that stood out so far was that this particular PC is running Windows XP Media Center and to my knowledge we've never had anyone install on that O/S (and as old as that is I doubt we ever will). That being said, I'm at a loss as to what to check at this point.

Any ideas?

  3) Microsoft .Net version through control panel-> add/remove program
  4) Window XP Media Center version? We do not perform specific tests on Window XP Media Center environment

  Regarding #4 above, we have never tested against it either. When I did some searching on the error yesterday a large portion of the responses had to do with WMI components and/or network components. Our internal speculation was perhaps MCE was missing some WMI component that is used in the license verification process; but that was simply a guess on our part.

  We've been integrated to Bartender for several years (at least 6 or 7) and never ran into any issues like this; but frankly I don't know that any of our resellers has ever tried to load it on XP MCE either.
