Error Message #3204
Hello, I am new. Thanks in advance for any help you can lend.
I am using Bartender Professional, version 10.0
I am connecting to an Excel 2007 spreadsheet.
The first row has column headings, which Bartender is clever enough to exclude when I go to Select Records. When I print the top data row, row 2 in the worksheet, I get the following error.
BarTender: Error Message #3204
Database products_by_customer has no fields used in the template.
I have only three data rows. I can change the order of the data rows and it's always row 2 which generates the error. 3 and 4 never do. The failure is consistent. On this worksheet I can never print row 2, even as a preview.
There are several other worksheets in this spreadsheet, each with a top row of column headings followed by the data. Only this one worksheet exhibits this behavior. All others allow me to print from any row, as one would expect.
I'm on XP, SP3. products_by_customer.xlsx is my spreadsheet name. There is no VB script in it.

By the way, my solution for the time being is to copy row 2 to row 5, so it is duplicated in the worksheet. So I am not dead in the water. Rather, I just want to understand the cause. I will eventually want to have it work as it should, but it's not urgent.

What file are you saving it as? Try saving the file to .xlsx, csv (does not print certain languages), txt.
If you cannot do that and if your excel sheet is fixed you can copy and paste your records starting from row 3 instead of row 2.

Are you able to attach the Excel file for us to take a look at? Maybe you have a sample Excel file that also demonstrates the issue should the data be not for public disclosure?

I have the same problem with BraceSox. But if I print more than just row 1, then it is ok. So printing just solely row 1 gave me that error message and I could nto figure out why as I did it long time ago. But then long time ago I might be printing more than just row 1 too. And this seems like a software bug. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
