    1. From the "Print" dialog under the "Options" sub-tab make sure you tick the "Repeat data entry until cancelled" checkbox.

    2. The print or not print check box can be implemented in the following fashion: Create a named data source.  Give it a name like "btPrintBarcode1".  Create a checkbox data entry control on the form, link it to your newly created named data source, and set the ticked value to True, and the unticked value to false.  In the label object properties select the top node of the settings tree and open the properties for the "Print When" item.  Choose the "Conditionally based on data source" item selecting the named data source you created and then the "IsTrue" criteria value.

    3. Create a number data entry control on the form and then link it to the copies or serial numbers input data sources as required.

Very helpful info on the Data Entry form.

Is there a way to do this without also re-querying the data?  I want/need a query prompt on my template.  I would like the query prompt to appear the first time the user selects the template in BT-WPS, but after printing, keep the Data Entry form open (or reopen) without the query prompt reappearing.

It would be acceptable to store the prompt answer(s) in a data source (but not saved in the template) and re-query without showing the prompt.

My plan, if it works, is to use the query prompt as a login, then let the user run multiple print jobs using the Data Entry form.  Since WPS offers no multi-user security, I would like to try this.

I know a custom front-end would let me do this.  I have done so in the past with a desktop application with the ActiveX SDK, but my present employer has two requirements (besides security).  1 Internet printing.  2 a hard two-week deadline.

Users and printers are spread around the globe, so internet printing is a must.  So is the two-week deadline.

Any help, or sympathy, is appreciated.

Try out BarTender 2016.  This new release includes the BarTender Print Portal (BT-PP) which replaces the BarTender Web Print Server BT-WPS.  BarTender 2016 has much improved data entry forms functionality that allows for query prompt, record selection, and data entry all from the same consolidated form.  BT-PP is a web equivalent of the Print Station application.  It supports authenticated, user based security, multiple document folders, and a new, more reliable method for internet printing that doesn't require browser plugins thus giving internet printing support to all HTML5 compliant browsers on Windows.  Also, you'll find BT-PP offers 100% support for all data entry form controls used in the BarTender document.  Highly recommended all round.  http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/barcode-label-design-and-printing/
