Tm-C3500 Margins, 3703 Error And Unpredictable Label Size Changes
Hello guys. This been torturing me for a week , i still cant find the answer. The Epson tech guys ignore me or are acting like im speaking barbarian language.I need your help.
I must print on weird (Die-cut , gap) labels with 95W / 30 H. size labels. it was easy with Thermal printer with preprinted labels. The problem is - i need to put matching serials of QR codes on the bottom of the label , and those numbers are meant to be placed very close to the edge of the bottom margin ( ive tried turning to 180 - even worse). When im making a new custom label of that measurement , everything is fine - until i try to print. The #3703 error comes.I know it can be unchecked , but the label goes unpredictable , scaling to some weird sizes.
I cant make this work, if i move those serials a bit higher - it will intersect with QR come and design elements. Is this the physical limitation of the printhead of this d@mn printer ?The bottom and upper margins are fixed and blacked out. If i check the box with "Extend Printable Area" the machine goes nuts.
Appreciate your answer , guys.I really need it

If that's uses the same mechanism as TM-C3400 printer, I recon it cannot print to very edge of the label as it requires 2mm of margins on label. I wonder that is due to nature of inkjet, however for detail please check with EPSON about what margin actually required for the printer.
