Label Printing Before Print Button Is Clicked
We are experiencing odd behavior with one of our label formats. We are using BarTender 10.1 SR2 Automation Edition in a Windows 7 32-bit environment. When our process is running smoothly, the operator clicks on a shortcut to the label file (using the /P /X command-line switches). A Data Entry form appears, requesting three pieces of optional information (a use by date, a label reprint indicator and print comments). The operator will enter data and click Print. A label will print and the print data is then logged to our print log file (plain text). What I am being told is that the operator is launching the label file using the shortcut, but a label is printing before the operator clicks the Print button on the Data Entry form, and the 3907 error is being thrown. I have not witnessed this behavior myself (every time I watch the process, nothing odd happens), but I figure that it couldn't hurt to ask if anyone else has seen this problem (labels printing before the Print button is clicked). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In the document's print dialog > Options, Make sure [Enable Data Entry] is enabled.
If printing many in short period of time, give some seconds after close BarTender (/X) and before next print (/P) - BarTender takes some time to properly close, so terminating and starting bartender too quickly might causes unexpected result.
Try Print Station instead of Command line shortcut. For simple click-and-print task, Print station is much faster and simple as it keeps running a BarTender and keeps recent document in background.

Shotaro, thank you so much for your reply. I will perform additional testing to see if I can recreate the result, and I will also look into Print Station.
