If the printer and printer driver supports it, you can enable the "Use Printer's clock" in BarTender on your text object. Do this by double clicking on the BarTender object in question to open its properties. As the source for your Data Source, choose "Clock", and now enable the "Use Printer's Clock" if this option isn't greyed out. Now select the "Data Type" tab and set the type of date/time format you're wishing to use. At print time, BarTender will demand the printer to make use of the internal clock.

If you're not using Seagull drivers yet for your Sato printer, please download one now:

Is there a way for me to use a internet time server like time.nist.gov? I'm having issues with printer clock working.  The label keeps defaulting to the window's clock and the time stamp stays the same when I print a large batch of labels.

    Thanks
