As a test, you can create a new BarTender document just with a "Sample Text" text object on it. Now, access the "File > Print" dialog, and click on the "Document Properties..." button. Choose the "Stock" tab and make sure that you've set the right settings here. E.g. if the printer is a thermal printer (uses a ribbon), make sure you choose "Thermal Transfer" as the Media Setting. Also, if you use labels separated by gaps, choose "Transmissive (Gap Sensor)" as the Sensor.

What version and build of BarTender is in use? What Windows version? What version of the printer driver have you installed?

If you still have problems, what symptons do you get apart from the label not being printed? Does an error message appear on the printer? Is the print job created (and disappears) in the print queue? Does the printer attempt to print, and then stops?

    Hi Domingo,

Thank you for the reply. I will try and see what happens.

My version of BarTender is 10.0 and my Windows is XP Professional with Service Pack 3. The printer driver I don't know.

    Hi again!

I solved my problem by changing to a Seagull driver.

    Thanks!
