Rookie Question: How To Manually Add Data To A Data Entry Form
Sorry, but I do not understand how to add data (or text) to a Data entry form that I have created. I have just purchased a Cub CB-424e with Batender Ultralite.
Question #1 Why is there a data entry form and a template? I want my template to look like my data entry form.
Question #2 I have 6 "text input" boxes on my data entry form. All I want to do is add my data manually and print out a single label. I tried setting up an excel sheet to link to the label, but the software keeps telling me it can't use it or link it. I have all the trial versions and nothing works.
Thanks.

#1, You can use template design to enter data, however that might leads accidental modification of unwanted part. for protect of template design and ease of data entry, you can add Data entry form.
In data entry form, you can show how entered data would be look like - place a picture and select picture source as "Preview of Printed Item".
#2, BarTender UltraLite (equivalent to Basic edition except prints to only Cub printers) doesn't have database connection function - you need Professional Edition or above to pull data from Excel.

While you have 30 days trial left, you can try database connection feature following video below.

All I want to do is add my data manually and print out a single label.Besides, from above I'm not sure you need excel sheet or not - see video below for data entry form.

When still have trouble, attach the btw document file and note how you want from More Reply Options button below.

Thanks Shotaro! The video was very helpful and I have successfully printed a label to my liking. I have to say, they don't make it easy for a simple task.
