Basic Edition Question

Hi I am currently running a trial version of BarTender Basic edition to see if it fits our needs. Essentially we have a very simple label with a model number (manually entered), a voltage (manually entered) and a serial number which has an incremental growth on it. Quite simply I want to use the Print Log (I think) to record the three fields above therefore building a record of what models were built, their serial number and voltage. When I look at the fields available for the Print Log they are not much more than User, Printer, Submission etc i.e. functional but no label data. Any ideas how i can record the product data to a CSV or XLS file in Basic edition? Cheers Chris

  The print job log requires the Automation edition of BarTender or higher.  Enable it via the "Administer>Log Setup" menu item, and then select the "Text File Log" tab and setup the print log as required.  When configuring, simply select the check box options for the report as appropriate.
