Combine Query Prompts And Date Entry Form Prompts?

Is it possible to have a single data entry form to drive both a database query and an embedded data source. I am prompting the user for Work Order Number (query prompt) and Quantity (data entry form) at print time. It would be nice if the users only had one screen on which to enter the required data. Is this possible from within BarTender?

  Unfortunately, BarTender can’t currently combine the query prompt and user entry screens into a unified dialog. This is something that has been requested by multiple users in the past, and I will ping the issue with another request.

  Hi Everyone,

   

  We're working to implement Bartender with our Dynamics AX 2012 installation.  I'm trying to do this exact thing, and haven't run across how to execute.  I can pull up the right line of data from the database in a Query Prompt but then have to enter the number of labels to print in the Data Entry Form.  Any progress since your response in 2012?

  In terms of a unified query and data entry form prompts, no. This feature wasn't implemented yet into BarTender. However, in terms of integrating BarTender with Dynamics AX, there are several ways of achieving this. All of these integration methods will allow you to assign the query prompt value and the number of copies in one go.
