Capturing Ipl

Can I capture the Intermec Programming Language command string that gets sent to a printer (Intermec PM4i) by Bartender? I already tried printing to a file (not to a printer) and am only getting weird characters.

  Hi WifiGuy,
  
  To get IPL code, Install Printer Driver for IPL, not DP. (You may need to configure your printer to run IPL mode)
  To capture print code while actually being sent to printer, you can enable print code logging From Seagull Driver's Printer property > Tools tab > Logging options > Printer code recording.
  (Note you need to enable bi-directional support in ports tab.)
  
  Use intermec(printer) font rather than Windows truetype font.
  
  IPL still cryptic to me, though.

  Make sure the IPL driver is configured to use readable control characters otherwise it will look a bit unreadable and not what you might be used to in the IPL programming manuals. Do this via the "Tools" tab of the driver properties under the "Configure" button menu.
