Change Print Methode

We are using BT10 Automation with printerdriver version 6.6.
The printer is being used to print Thermal and Non Thermal labels
I would like to change the printing methode setting progamatically to "Thermal Transfer" or "Thermal Direct ".
Is there a way to do this? I could not find the solution.

Unfortunately no, there's no way to programatically change that from inside of BarTender.

That's a shame!
This forces me to use two printerdrivers.
Would it not be possible to use ssdal.exe for this purpose?

No. The Seagull Driver Automation layer affects the driver. However since what's stored in the label format is a view of the driver that's captured at the time of label creation that's not changed byt the DAL settings.
