Shut Down Bartender If Printer Shuts Off?
Not sure if this is in the correct forum or not, but here goes. I am trying to investigate implementing a setting or VB script where Bartender will be able to sense when the printer it is being used with is shut off, and when it does, it will close the Bartender application without saving changes. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
TheCanadian

I don't think this is possible from VB script within BarTender itself. However, if you are controlling BarTender via .NET automation then you can use the Printer() class of our API to get the status of the printer, and depending on that status to shut down the controlled BT processes.

We do not use .NET automation. All of our processes are run through the Bartender application under manual data entry and control.
Sounds like there isn't a way to do this, eh?
