Conditional Printing Based On File

I would like to conditionally print an object in BarTender based on the file's state in Librarian. Is there any way to implement this using VB Script? I believe that it can be done through the .NET SDK, but I'd rather not develop a .NET solution. My goal is to allow printing of Unpublished files, but to have the unpublished state identified on the printed label. We are currently using 10.0 SR4, but would be willing to upgrade.

  Yes, it can be done by a .NET application, but I cannot think of any other way with your current version.  IN BarTender 2016, if you're printing in an automated fashion you could run a Powershell script in the Integration Platform to get the current file state and then print that on the label, but again that's a bit convoluted.

   

  I've added a feature request to have Librarian file states added to the list of meta data that can be printed using a Print Job Field data source.
