Is it possible to insert tab stops within a textfield?

  Create a text object, open its properties selecting the "Text Format" option, and then select the "Tabs" sub tab in order to get to where you can set tab stops.

  I have created a tab stop. How can I get my text at that stop. If I press the "tab" button on my keyboard there is no moving of text.

  Are you entering in the tab at design time in the data source?  Click the Omega symbol button to insert a control character.  A tab is also known as an HT (horizontal tab).
