Multiple Barcodes On 1 Label
Hello world of labels and barcoding:)
I'm trying out different things now, but could not get the right solution for my problem. The thing is, I'm creating a carton label with multiple barcodes on it. The barcodes are connected with an excel file. In this excel file, the data for the barcodes are in one and the same column. The problem is, the barcodes are all the same because they get the first row in the datasheet.
How can I get, (example: select the 5 barcodes required on the label in bartender when printing) the barcodes identical to the data in the column? I hope my question and problem is clear enough.
Thanks in advance for anyone who is trying to help me.

To rephrase the question: Would I be near the mark if I said you would query the Excel file to return a set of records that you would then wish to print on a single label? Assuming the answer is yes, then you should enable the page template option in BarTender's (v10.1) page setup dialog, and specify a page with X number of labels on it, for each row of your barcode data. The page template layout will be of the overall label dimensions, containing all the label level items, and then the individual label layout would contain the record specific items like the barcode you mention.
The attached document should give you an idea as to what I'm referring to:

Hi Ian!
Connected a access database sample file. I think this is exactly what I needed! Thank you very much for the quick response.I'm trying this out with my current label design. If it doesn't work, you will hear from me again, if it does work I think I'm done :)
Thanks again!

Adalberto: Since BarTender 2019 the story here has changed as we now support the ability to have multiple records used per label. See the following article for more information: https://support.seagullscientific.com/hc/en-us/articles/360057785373-How-to-display-multiple-records-in-a-single-template

I tried this and yet all the records are the same, i need each of the 5 to be different while query them

Adalberto: If you followed the instructions on how to design a label with multiple records per label then it should all work just fine. Perhaps start by creating a blank label from scratch, just in case you're trying to change an existing label that is causing a conflict/confusion, that then give unexpected results. Get in touch with Technical Support if you're still stuck.
