Trying To Setup A Gse355

Hello,

 

I am trying to setup Bartender to read in data from the scale on our manufacturing floor (it is a GSE, Model 355).  I struggled to find a protocol that would work when setting up a weighing scale, but I found a few that seemed to work ( SMA Standard, Adam Equipment aZextra (Label 1 and 2) ). 

 

I can setup and install a scale using any of those protocols, and I see data when I click 'Test Connection' (within the scale properties, connection tab), however when I am in the scale display control properties window, and I hit 'Start Test' ....I don't see the weight.

 

I can see the screen go from 'No Data Received' to showing the scale, but the scale always reads 0.

 

This is my first time using a scale with BarTender so it is very possible I am doing something wrong, but I am rather lost.  Any advice?

  You might need to setup custom scale protocol for that - if the scale doesn't have command emulation to existing models.

  What is command for request weight and what is the response of the scale? 

  When still have problems, I recommend to contact to regional technical support, with command reference attached.
