Hide Pre/suffix In Dmc If Data Is Empty

Hi together,

 

I have created a Datamatrixcode that get his data from excel. I works very well. To encode the data our customer is using pre- and suffixes. So I added the pre- and suffixes to every data in the code. There is a possibility that there is no data in a cell of the excel. (Perhaps if the part is not cleaned, there will be no "Date of cleaning".) If there is no data in a cell the pre- and suffixes also should not be part of the code. But they are...

 

Is there any way to suppress the pre- and suffixes if there is no data ??

  Hi,

  instead of prefix / suffix, you can use additional data source.

  In data source transform, there's suppression option to suppress (not print) when previous data source is empty.

  Hi,

   

  thank you very much. That works pretty well. But I recognized, that it only works with embedded data or database-data but NOT with object values. I had another object value which was linked to the database. So I got the data indirectly. I changed it now directly to database.
