Datamatrix Aspect Ratio

Good evening guys. I have a major problem , it will probably sound laughable to you, but still..I`ve been making labels with graphics and 2 bardcodes on them: datamatrix and QR. i`ve cheated and made datamatrix codes in illustrator with plugin , stretching it to rectangular-esque shape with aspect ~52x41 so it would fit in the weird design shape on the label.Ive done it all manually, because the amount of those labels wasnt high. Now the Bartender is connected to database, and i wounder , is there a way to put the datamatrix bar (reading data from the database) with such aspect? I know there are standard rectangular/square shapes, but nothing fits me. Could you help me please

  BarTender is able to insert picture objects coming from a database for use on the label design.  The fact that it's a picture will be transparent to BarTender -- it doesn't care.  Is the picture stored as a BLOB object in a database field?  Note that you can then modify the picture properties depending on whether the imported picture is to remain the original size, or if it is to be stretched proportionally, or a non-proportional manner.

  Yes, you can create a datamatirx barcode using database data, even multiple data sources if you wish.  Your request to have a custom aspect I don't believe is possible.  You can auto-size the barcode to a square or rectangle or use some of the predefined values (none of which are the size you are looking for)

  Ian , i store it in the cell as a hyperlink to the existing png in directory. I have another not-so-smart question: Is there a way to automate the  the conversion from  string to datamatrix(as image file) ? or i`ll just have to manually convert the insane amounts of strings to datamatrix pictures? Im sorry for these kinds of question , im just  Illustrator/Photoshop guy , replacing the fired person that should deal with this. Appreciate your help guys

  Hi - in BarTender's template design view, you can create a Datamatrix barcode and data pulled from database, no need to copy image from illustrator.

  The procedure is same as 1D barcodes - see video below.

  Edit: It looks 52x41 aspect ratio is bothering you - please don't squash Datamatrix. that would cause read error. Use square shape like 41:41 and leave outside blank.

  I understood in design aspect, barcodes/2D codes isn't beautiful sometimes. But remember - barcode is intended to read by MACHINE, we human being cannot read Datamatrix (well.. I can't, at least.)

  Thank you for the answer Shotaro :) Well , im pretty much in trouble then, if u cant change it to 52x41 , cause it doesnt fit this way:) Thank you for help once again guys.Btw , its readable by any bardcode scanner , when i make it this weird rectangular shape anyway.Too bad  BT doesnt support custom shapes :(
