Hello there, i'm trying to use BarTender to replace the current labels printing process in my company.

 

I've created a test layout linked with an excel file.

 

What i need to do for :

 

1) I've a date field from the excel formatted as YYYYMMDD. I need to display this date on data entry module as reference for the user but user must be insert/select an appropriate date format (ex. MM.YYYY or YYYY.MM or MM-YYYY...) that must be inserted on label to be printed. How can do this?

 

2) From data entry module, is it possible to allow the user to select or insert an ID number in order to pre-load most of label data required related to this ID automatically?

 

3)Is it possible to manage with a check box the visibility of an image on label layout?

 

These are some issues found from the moment.

  1. Attach a copy of your BarTender document, together with the Excel file, so I can have a better understanding on what you're trying to do.

   

  2. It sounds like you should be making a database query on the ID number in order to return this set of "pre-loaded" data,

   

  3. Each object, from the top node of its properties, has a conditional option for whether it is to print or not.
