Printing On Heat Shrink Tube
Hi,
I am trying to print a 6 digit part number on heat shrink tubing about every 3 inches.
The equipment I have is:
Bartender 10.0 SR2
CAB A4+ (600DPI) printer
My question is, is there a way in Bartender to tell the printer to print label text every 3 inches?
The CAB printer registers the leading edge of the label stock. Currently it see's the label stock then feeds the tubing till I cancel the print job (about 8 feet) without printing text.
Thanks,
Ken

Hello Mgracr,
It's probably the case that you need to correctly configure the printer sensor (basically disable it so you can manually specify the length of your label). To do so from BarTender access the "File>Print..." dialog, click on the "Document Properties..." button and access the "Stock" tab. Make sure to set the "Type" to continuous.
Once done so you'll need to specify in the "File>Page Setup..." dialog the desired page size (under the "Page" tab) and the gap size between labels (under the "Layout" tab).
*Note that this will affect only the document you are working with as the document properties are embedded as part of the document. If you wish to change this configuration for all new documents you'll need to modify in the same way the driver preferences.
**I've noticed that you are not working with the latest release for your BarTender version (v10.0 SR4, build 2868), please download and install it from the below webpage:
