Danish Letters
Hey.
My firm is using Bartender 10.1 to make ID Name Tags but we are having some problems using letters like Æ - Ø - Å .
Using:
Code 39-Regular we just get a 0
Code 128: Code US, westEurope(ANSI, 1252) We get the right letters on screen but when we print the label and scan it its all blank
How will we be able to use the letters?

Hello Hydra,
Regarding the Code 39 I'm afraid that its character set doesn't support those characters. Actually, even if you used the Code 39 (Full ASCII) which supports the full ASCII table you wouldn't be able to use these characters as they belong to the extended ASCII code, also not supported.
With a Code 128 you can certainly encode these characters, but you'll need to change the text encoding to "Unicode (UTF-8)". This can be changed from the "Symbology and Size" node of the barcode properties.
*Once encoded, your scanner needs to be able to read Unicode.
Regards.

Thanks for the fast response.
looks like that it was our scanners that cant use the Code.
So if this is the only way i can get to use Æ-Ø-Å i will have to buy new scanners.thanks alot for the help.
