Dashes In Human Readable: Not In Barcode
Our customer is requesting an AIAG format with dashes in the human readable fields but not in the barcode.
I learned to omit the (P) from the human readable; how do I omit the dashes from the barcode?
Currently, we use BarTender 9.20.

In the 'Human Readable' tab of the barcode. select the check box next to 'Character Template'. You can then add dashes that will show up just in the readable characters in there. So in the case of a SSN, you'd put ???-??-????, entering data 123456789 would result in 123-45-6789 in the human readable but 123456789 in the barcode.

I did attempt to apply a template, but I must have entered it from the wrong tab.
