Data Entry Control On Different Lines.

Hello Guys,

 

Would appreciate some help on below matter, as i'm new with using Bartender

 

I'm extracting data for below labels from a database, but i need data entry control on different lines.

 

First Label:

 

00AY422                     

B27E2D41                     

MM/DD/YY 

 

Second Label:

 

00D5893

MM/DD/YY

EE0D8914

 

What i want to do is ability to enter data with data entry control on MM/DD/YY,

How should i do this with MM/DD/YY located at two different lines?

 

If i enable data entry control on lines lines two and three it would cause problem as i only want data editing on MM/DD/YY.

  More than looking for a solution inside BarTender, why is the database constructed in this way? Should the second and third database fields not have a consistent structure, in which case the date would e.g. always appear in field 3 of your database?

   

  If it's not possible to modify the structure of your database, you can try designing 2 separate BarTender documents (.btw), the first one printing all records where the date appears on the third field and the second document to print all records where the date appears on the second database field, and then print these labels using our companion applications Print Station / Batch Maker...
