Serial Numbers Not Incrementing
Hi,
I can't get the serial numbers to increment. they print the same number continuously.
The serial number starts from a field on an excel spread sheet. The serialize box is checked in the more options/serialization but the "Update sub-string after print" is grayed out (not functioning).
How can I turn it on?
Thanks,
Ken

If you're pulling the starting number from a database, there's no option to update the string after print, because it will pull from the database every time printing starts. Are you specifying a number of serialized copies per database record?0 -
If I understand correctly, if I get information from a database the serializing information also has to come from the database.

Hi Ken,
That's not necessarily the case. You can just put a serialized number on the label and have it count up per print job or per record, however you'd prefer. What's your end goal for this?0
