Manual Serialization

I would like to manually/programatically serialize a field on a label. Any Ideas?

  I'm not sure what you mean, since "manual" and "programatically" seem to be opposites to me. Have you already found the serialize options for a data field in BarTender? In 9.4 and below, they would be under the "More Options" button from your Data Source tab, and in Version 10, they would be under the "Transforms" tab when editing your field properties.

  I am already using serialization on a field that is triggered by a check box prompt selection. There is another field on the label that always needs to be serialized. I can't seem to do both using the serialization function. I was hoping to do the latter by scripting, ex. pallet_count = pallet_count + 1

  There is no reason that you should not be able to serialize multiple objects on a single format. If both objects are set to serialize, then they should both increment for each printed item. Can you describe the problem that you having a little bit more? Can you also let us know which version of BarTender you are using so that we can give you accurate instructions.
  
  Also, handling the serialization through VB Script is also an option, but seems unnecessary since we should be able to get this working using BarTender's built in functionality.
