Picture Printing Quality

Hello,
i am trying to print a picture and the printing quality is poor.
the originial file was made by Illustrator SW (.ai) and converted to JPEG, TIFF when i print it the qulity was very poor.

any suggestion which format is the best format for that?

  Hi Alon,
  Try PNG (without transparency). That keeps image quality and dimension(or dpi) with relatively compact file size.
  Another option is windows bitmap (BMP).
  
  One more - if you use Seagull driver to print label printer, in Print dialog > Document properties > Graphics tab, change dithering method.
  
  None: Image printed in crisp black and white without intermediate color. Good for simple logo etc. not suitable for photograph.
  Halftone / Ordered / Algebraic: Use specific pattern for interim color. see dialog's sample for difference.
  Error diffusion: Using intensity of random dots to show intermediate color. better for photograph.
