    Hi, JackSealey :

On "Seralize" Tab, there are "Increment" and "Decrement" options for you. I think you are currently use "Increment" option. Do you think "Decrement" would work for your process?

You can also use VBscript to write the customized seralization and calculation.

There are other options for example ActiveX or SDK which can use Bartender seralization or your customised program seralization.

    ** ActiveX

    **.NetSDK

    Thanks!

    Hi Jack,

Since your serial number is incremented from lower number to higher number, it's not very easy to print order by the other way around.

How about printing label as upside down? In Page setup > Page tab, you can print label as "Portrait 180" to print upside down.
(This function may not supported by every printers, though)

    Thanks for the replies.

The decrement option will do what we require. The snag is that we will have to record the last number incremented to (this number constantly increases) and work it out from there. We have just moved from an old version of Barone and this had a simple tick box to reverse the print order, something we thought would be a must for anyone printing as we do (who would want to use the highest number first from a reel of say 1000 incremented labels?). The math is simple enough but we have many users doing the printing so this introduces human error where there was none.

I will look into those alternative suggestions, thanks.
