Bartender Engine Could Not Be Started

    Please confirm, is this v10.0 or v10.1 SR2?  Either way, you should download and install the relevant service release for your version:

    What is the edition of BarTender?  It needs to be either Automation or Enterprise Automation.  If the Trial edition it still needs to be within the trial period.

     

    What version of Windows is this running in?

     

    Permissions wise, all you need is a standard user account that has permission to launch the application, use the required files/folder for BarTender documents, and have access to the printers drivers.

    Hi Team,

     

    I am stuck with this problem.

     

    "The BarTender engine could not be started. Possible reasons are:
     
     1) BarTender is not properly installed.
     2) BarTender is not properly registered on the computer (e.g bartend.exe /register).
     3) There are too many process instances of BarTender running. Stop a few bartend.exe instances and try again. Also see SDK Engine.Start method documentation for information about how to allow more BarTender processes to run on your computer by increasing your "non-interactive" shared desktop heap.
     4) The user account does not have permission to run BarTender."

     

    What should I do?

    For permissions, what should I do? Do I need to set IIS_User permissions?

     

    Need urgent help.
