License Server And Activation Error
Hi,
I tried to install the latest Bartender software's Seagull server only part. It installed the 3 SQL prerequisite, then proceeded to install the server. Installation didn't show any error, but activation wizard keeps giving error:
Bartender is not installed or the isntallation has been corrupted. Please re-install.
I tried to install on 2 different server, both Windows 2008 R2. One did not have the .Net on it, other did. Both gave me the above error, even after reinstall.
For testing, I also tried to install on my laptop, the activation wizard and the program worked without any issue.
After te error, the attached crash message appears.

Hmmm, seems strange, not sure what could be going on there. Perhaps you have some security software running, configured in a certain way, that is affecting how it operates correctly. I suggest you get in touch with technical support who can help you trouble shoot the problem.

Hi, thank you.
In the meantime we managed to find the solution: the $BarTender_Security$ "user" needs to get administrator right, so we added it to the Administrators group and the activation wizard started up nicely.
